i-maritime team comprises of professionals with diverse functional skills in areas like maritime, international trade, finance, marketing, human resources, logistics and supply chain management.
A mix of experience and youthful dynamism
The average age of our team is 30 years. We believe that experienced professionals provide the knowledge and experience necessary to implementing solutions. However, we also have young B-school graduates and engineers from institutes such as the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). They add to the dimension of innovation and out-of-the box thinking.
Profile of a Consultant:
A consultant at i-maritime is typically an MBA from a premier institute like Indian Institute of Management (IIM) with over 3 years of consulting experience in diverse domains. Consultants are responsible for executing the projects independently or under guidance of principals and external specialists.
Profile of an Analyst:
i-maritime recruits graduate from premier B-schools for the position of Business Analyst. A business analyst assists the consultants and specialists in executing the assignments. He would be expected to conduct background analysis, data collection and undertake research, which is shaped into a customized consulting study by the consultants.
Profile of an Associate
i-maritime regularly teams up with various experts from maritime industry and academics on project basis to bring in the expertise, management principles and domain knowledge in the team. An associate guides the team during the project in terms of methodology and thus improves the quality of the work.
Ramesh Singhal
Ramesh is the CEO of i-maritime consultancy private limited. He has undertaken more than 120 projects in covering all areas of maritime consultancy consisting of ports, shipping, shipyards, container and logistics. He has an integrated view of the sector. In particular, his expertise is traffic studies, market analysis and risk assessment. He is widely quoted as a maritime expert by various media and is a sought after speaker at seminars and conferences.
Before starting i-maritime, Ramesh worked with the Shipping Credit and Investment Corporation of India. Ramesh has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore and a B-Tech. in Naval Architecture from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras.
M. R. Aravindan
Aravindan has over 22 years experience in Strategic Planning, Projects and Finance in companies such as Engineers India Ltd, Tata Economic Consultancy Services, Reliance Industries and Dempo Group. He has hands on experience of over 20 years in conducting Techno- Economic Feasibility Studies for a wide variety of projects and sectors. Business opportunity scanning, joint ventures, M&A and financial modeling are his other areas of expertise.
Aravindan has handled close to 50 projects at i-maritime Consultancy and acts as project co-coordinator and supervisor. He holds a MBA degree from IIM Bangalore and B.Tech from IIT Kanpur
